Purpose and acceptance

akquaaa.com is the website of Hotel Akquaaa in Calafell (Tarragona). It provides information about the hotel, its rooms, its restaurant and the surrounding area, and is available in Spanish, Catalan, English and French.

In accordance with Spanish Law 34/2002 of 11 July on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce (LSSI), this notice identifies the owner of the site and sets out its terms of use. By browsing the site, the user accepts these terms. Anyone who does not agree with them should refrain from using it.

Proper use of the website

The user undertakes to use the site and its forms lawfully, in good faith and in accordance with these terms. The user must not enter other people's personal data without their permission, or use the website in any way that could damage it, stop it from working or harm the rights of third parties.

Nor may the Hotel Akquaaa name or logo be used without that authorisation.

  • Room bookings. Bookings are completed on the hotel's official booking engine, Witbooking, which runs on an external domain belonging to its provider. All the booking buttons on this website lead to the hotel's page on that engine. The terms, availability and price of each booking are those shown by the engine before the booking is confirmed.
  • Restaurant website. The hotel's restaurant, Akquaaa Restaurant, has its own website: akquaaarestaurante.com.
  • Social media. The hotel's Instagram profile, @hotelakquaaa (opens in a new tab), is linked from the website footer. Instagram applies its own terms of use and its own privacy policy; the owner is responsible only for what it publishes on its profile.
  • Other third-party websites. Apart from the cases above, where the site links to third-party websites, the owner has no control over their content. Each one applies its own terms and its own privacy policy, which can be consulted on that website.

Applicable law and jurisdiction

Use of this site and this legal notice are governed by Spanish law.

For the resolution of any dispute relating to the site, the parties submit to the courts and tribunals of Barcelona. Where the user is a consumer, this submission does not apply insofar as it conflicts with the jurisdiction to which the user is entitled under the consolidated text of the General Law for the Protection of Consumers and Users and other complementary laws, approved by Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007 of 16 November.
